I continued on the Katy trail today. There was a bit more elevation, but pretty much everything is less than a 3% grade so it isn’t difficult, just a bit slow. There was a self serve farm stand that had eggs, jam, cold drinks, ice cream, granola bars, and homemade cookies.

The railroad had one tunnel, which I went through today. The trail actually has a few tunnels now in areas where erosion is an issue.

To end the day, I hopped on the Rock Island trail, which connects to the Katy and camped at the trailhead in Leeton.
