I got a late start today after another night of storms, but I had a short day planned anyway. The wind was brutal for the first 25 miles. It was mostly cross wind, but at around 25mph it made it difficult to travel in a straight line. Later in the day wind became more reasonable, around 10-15mph. At those speeds it still has a noticeable impact on riding speed, but much less impact on how the bike handles.
I spent the night at Manakota City Park. Earlier forecasts predicted there would not be storms tonight, but now it looks like there may be more thunderstorms tonight.
