Day 5: Dry Ridge, KY

Today was full of excitement! I headed out of Indiana and into Ohio before taking the Anderson Ferry across the Ohio River into Kentucky. This ferry is only a bit larger than the Cave in Rock Ferry and has a captain portion on one side. Instead of turning the whole boat around to go back and forth, the captain portion is hinged and partially separates from the passengers each time it changes direction.

I had a long conversation with a cyclist when I took a break at a gas station. He had not been touring, but aspires to do so one day and has a YouTube channel where he documents his local adventures.

I spent the night at the RV Village campground in Dry Ridge, KY. It had a very itchy cat.
