The riding was pretty easy today, but slowed down by some old torn up chip sealed roads. It was gloomy all day, but I made it into Columbia before it started raining. I waited under an overhang at the Trustus Theater for the rain to pass before continuing to the Big Rig Friendly RV Resort.
On the way out of downtown Columbia, I ran into a few closed bike paths that were damaged during Hurricane Helene. I still made it to the campground before the second bout of rain. I will be in Columbia for about a week. Daily blogs will resume on 5/17.
