It rained all night and into the morning, so we decided not to attempt climbing today, especially since the crags were all several miles from our campsite. I decided to head out from Red River Gorge a day early to buy some flexibility later in the week. I also decided to leave in a different direction than we had come to avoid the massive hills and see new places. I was able to get to Boonesborough state park, just south of Lexington before evening storms. I also hit 1000 miles of cycling today.
Neil stayed at Miguel’s one more day since he will be heading home via rental car tomorrow.
