There were scattered thunderstorms today, do I did my best to time my riding around them. I stopped for a few hours in Owensboro to let the weather settle and checked out their free art museum.
3 miles from my campsite at John Name Audubon State Park, it started to downpour. I pulled over and found a church to wait it out. Moments later a car spun out, did an entire 360 spin, ran off the street onto the sidewalk and hit a street sign. I was glad to be off the road when that happened.
I also saw an unreasonably tall truck.
