I went on a rock climbing excursion to Exit 38, Deception Crag with some of Alyssa’s friends. This crag is located on the Palouse to Cascades Trail (the one actually ridable section), so it is easy to access on a bike. We climbed in the Substation and We Did Rock areas. Substation is tucked away below the path and near the base of a tressel. We Did Rock is located directly on the main trail. It is so close that you have to be aware of cyclists when belaying. There was a noticeable amount of loose rock.
I stayed in a warm showers treehouse the night before and after in order to allow a full day of climbing.
