Day 85: Lewistown, MT

I got a good, early start today. Which did mean missing complimentary pancakes at the KOA. I made an early stop in Belt which had a surprisingly medium sized grocery store. The store had taxidermy all around the walls.

The ride was mostly uneventful today. A few hills here and there and mostly through farmland. For the most part, the shoulder was pretty wide with rumble strip. A few sections had the annoying rumble strip that extends all the way across the shoulder and a few sections were full of rocks, but these were all short stretches.

I spent the night at the Kiwanis Park in Lewistown. Camping here is free. The park is right next to an airport. When planes take off, it is very loud, but the airport is small enough that this is infrequent. A pair of cyclists and their small dog also camped here and are headed the opposite direction.
