Today was a pretty short day of riding because of limited camping options. I had a moderate headwind all day, so I was okay with the short distance. I met 2 cyclists headed the opposite direction along the road and we exchanged blog info.

Once in Great Falls, I went to Bighorn Outdoor Specialties for a bit of bike maintenance. My headset was slowly coming loose and my chain needed to be replaced. Once those things were taken care of, riding was much smoother. I am always surprised by how much a new chain improves the ride quality.
Great Falls has 2 camping options at opposite ends of the city. Both are fairly expensive, an RV park and a KOA. I ended up staying at the more expensive KOA because it puts me 6 miles farther along which should help me pull a long day tomorrow.
The KOA had live country music, so I listened to that especially since it could be heard from my campsite whether I liked it or not. A small storm rolled in during the music, but passed quickly. There may be more small storms throughout the night.
