I can feel I’m getting close to home. High humidity, less wind, and flat terrain. Much of today’s riding was on paved paths. I was in a hurry to finish my riding before thunderstorms rolled in. I was very thankful to have a Warm Showers host who I had reached out to just yesterday evening. He was already hosting a couple headed to New York, but had space for me too.
It turned out I had already met the couple while I was in Sand Springs, MT. We had a fun evening of sharing stories and eating all sorts of home cooked food.
