Day 113: Hartford, WI

It is starting to warm up again. Today’s ride started with the last notable climb, but it was not more than 600ft. Then, rolling hills the rest of the day.

I took the Merrimac Ferry across the river. It is a free 15 car ferry that runs 24 hours a day about 7 months of the year. There are ice cream shops on both sides of the river, but both were closed at the time I arrived.

Feeling cheated out of ice cream, I took a 6 mile detour to get some. I then continued to Pike Lake to camp and got there just before dark.
